Arigato on the sunny South Bank

I finally made it to Arigato at County Hall today – the last afternoon of the last day. An awful lot of people had decided to do the same and were sitting in the shade of big paper umbrellas drinking sake cocktails and gazing out over the sunlit Thames. Oh, and Wenlock was there too.

Arigato ran for fifteen days during the Olympics as an expression of Japan’s thanks for help and support following the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami in 2011.
