I was born in North London, close to Ally Pally, as Alexandra Palace is known to the locals. It’s also called the ‘People’s Palace’ because it’s not a palace at all but a leisure centre. It stands on a hill with a great view over London and is home to the studio where the BBC made their very first television broadcast.
London is my city, and I never run out of things to do and see in it, which is what this blog is about. But I’ve also spent some time living and working in Tokyo and travelling round Japan, which accounts for the occasional Japanese flavour.
I’m also the author of the Josie Clark in Japan series of East-West fusion murder mysteries. Josie’s a Tokyo-based expat Londoner who stumbles across a lot of bodies.
