The Liebster Award

liebsterI’ve been extremely lucky! First Memoirs of a Metro Girl kindly nominated me for a Liebster Award. Thank you, Metro Girl! Then Opalla on Trails nominated me as well, so a big thank you to her as well.

Then Lily King Taylor of King Lilith gave me another nomination! Thank you so much, Lily.

Then Lisa of Cocktails and Country Tails nominated me too. Thanks Lisa!

My latest nomination is from Sophie of Sophie’s Japan Blog. Thanks, Sophie!

I have to post eleven facts about myself and answer the questions put by each of the nominators and then nominate eleven blogs to receive the award and ask them eleven questions.

Eleven Facts about me

1. The place I’ve visited that I’d most like to go back to is Singapore. 2. I have a short Achilles tendon which is a real drawback for a dancer. Oh, and hardly any turnout. Good thing it’s not my career. 3. I love Wagner’s operas – I’ve been to his opera house on a hill in Bayreuth twice to hear them. (Nowadays it’s so popular you can’t get tickets). 4. Despite my deep respect for the Tchaikovsky/Petipa big three, my favourite ballet is Balanchine’s Jewels. 5. I eat an apple a day. 6. I once ate live fish (in Japan). They were quite small and swimming about in water so I drank them rather than ate them. 7. I can’t abide beetroot, ever since I had a horrific experience with it at primary school. 8.
